WBL 05 Notes

The WBL 05 is a platform for blinking 5 LEDs with
an 8-pin PIC chip, such as the 12F509. 

Of the 6 available I/O pins, 5 can drive an LED
and GP3 is input-only.

The pins are labeled and wired thus:

PIC      name      other side wired to
GPIO 0   "zero"    Resistor-pack to VCC
GPIO 1   "o"       Resistor-pack to VCC
GPIO 2   "oo"      Resistor-pack to VCC
GPIO 3   "o--oo"   Ground
GPIO 4   "oooo"    Resistor-pack to VCC
GPIO 5   "ooooo"   Resistor-pack to VCC

optional -- zener diode for current limiting when powered from a solar garden lamp
zener diode will SMOKE if powered from anything else, though!

provides several more access points to power & ground, as well as
a second optional power bus gated by to-92-sized transistors, such
as 2n2222 or 2n3904.
